To better enable facilitators to demonstrate their developmental role and help individuals, communities and organisations identify issues that are important to them, decide on solutions and plan a course for action.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to
Describe the role of a facilitator and identify expected results for a facilitator’s responsibilities;
Select and apply specific methodologies that encourage learning; and
Examine own attitudes and beliefs about learning and change, and on how well participants work together and build trust.

Practitioners having some experience involving facilitation and want to have a more effective approach and stronger skills.
Participatory activities will help participants prepare to apply new learning at her/his workplace. This course uses a wide range of activities – group work, presentations, analysis of actual situations, and exercises for participants to practice using their skills.
